Hi, we’re Joel and Ashley!

We’re an illustration team who have been drawing together (and married!) since we graduated in 2008 with design degrees. We love bright colors, cute characters, and stories full of imagination and whimsy and heart. We work and live on the coast in North Carolina with our two girls, three cats, 20ish chickens, a crested gecko, and a giant Great Pyrenees dog who is basically a horse muppet. When we’re not drawing, we’re usually out working on our backyard micro-farm.
